The Pocket Gods
The Pocket Gods are the eccentric Mark C Lee. and.. the beautifully angelic Annelise Moeke. They both sing and play guitar and write songs about, sex, froots and curry but not necessarily in that order!
They were discovered by the late great John Peel and have been played on Radio 1, Talksport, BBC Radio Leeds - their aim for 2006 is to spread love and froot and conquer heaven and earth.
They originally got together in the summer of 2004 when they recorded the Green Fairy tales albums which where inspired by the late 19thC French artists and poets and their drunken, debauched and absinthe soaked lives.
Since then they have done many acoustic gigs in London and also live radio session for the BBC. One of their tracks “Sussex” has been picked up by American Sports company O’Neills to spearhead their advertising campaign – irony is the song was written about life up North in a slightly grey Milltown and a million miles away from the sun drenched images of Calfornian surf doods!

ELEVEN
Hailing from picturesque North-Devon town of
Barnstaple, ELEVEN grew from the jamming of
brothers Steve and Chris Tanton (Drums and
Guitar respectively).
All aged between 18 and 20, ELEVEN have already got an enormous following in the West country following some packed out gigs and the support of local Radio. In 2005 they played the Gold Coast Oceanfest in front of a crowd of 3,000 and went on to win the Big Night Out competition. The band have gone on to play storming gigs in London at the Metro, Garage, Telegraph and Half Moon. There has been massive airplay from Pulse Rated FM and glowing reviews from around the country.

Keeler
Hailing from the Cannock area, Staffordshire, dave, gaz and kev started playing music together at the age of 12, gigging extensively anywhere in the midlands (they learned to drive at a young age!) doing beatles songs, blues, and 50's rock'n'roll. Andy vickerstaff had briefly played in a band with kev previously for a very short time and after one 30 second phone call the band was complete.
We are now entering the strongest period of the band without doubt, the songs are coming from all the band members, how rare is that?!, and the material is way above anything you will hear, top musicianship, awesome voice and above all, the killer hit single melodies are there in abundance, they have labels fishing around them in the states right now, 2006 is going to be a busy year for these guys thats for sure.

Emit
Emit has 4 members: Lee (vox/gtr), Rob (gtr/vox), Dave (bass/vox) and Dan (drums/vox). Lee started writing songs aged 15………Each was better than the last and they continue to improve exponentially. The standard today is undeniably high. Rob has been holding guitars since before he knew what one was. His overactive brain led him down the technology route resulting in a band with a broad sonic palette. Dave and Dan are a solid rhythm section, always controlled but with a stockpile of ‘northern rage’ to unleash when the time is right.
Rapidly becoming renowned for their stunning live shows they have ensured an increasingly healthy fan base in and out of London.

Noises In My Head
Noises in My Head (NiMH) kicked off in april 2004 under the name... well, there was no name! In fact the band was without a name for almost a year! Early on, the band had five names, each band member had a name in his mind, but didn't share it with anyone else!
Mr. Brownstone (guitar), Mr. Chris (drums), Mr. Kuba (guitars), Mr. filozoff (bass), and Mr. Lannon (vocals) all hail from London (via various other parts of the globe!) and base themselves in Sarf London.
Dreams of touring and recording early on were somewhat shattered once the band realised that in order to do these things, they actually needed to write some songs! Brownstone had recorded a few tracks on his home system in the privacy of his toilet, and this was more than enough to get the ball rolling. Over next six months, NiMH managed to get some decent structure to the songs and a bunch of lzrics to accompany the developing music. By October 2004 they were recording the tracks and over the next 10 months (it was a fairly slow process obviously!), they worked with Marek Titow, who brought the songs to life and allowed the band to show people what they were made of.

Futuro
Formed recently as a re-invention of a previous band, Futuro are a 3 piece rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Sounding like Bloc Party being held at gunpoint by Audioslave and forced to dance, Futuro combine the old school riff rock with the spikey production values of today.
Described as "a brighter future for the Scottish music scene" (unsignedUK) and gathering a loyal following across the UK, Futuro are setting themsleves up for a very busy 2006.
PRESS QUOTES:
"ambitious, intelligent and emotionally affecting music that deserves a wider audience" - daily record
"a promising debut" - is this music?
"so many flavoursome attributes its almost indescribable" - unsignedUK
"have the talent to make must-haves of the future" - QMU online

Hey Pablo!
"First and foremost Hey Pablo! is all about having fun. With so many "serious" moody bands out there with singers in emotional turmoil Hey Pablo!'s main goal on stage is too make everyone laugh rather than take themselves too seriously. The band is made up of four very different members Dr.Laydon on guitar, Lottie on drums, The BassDog "Double J" on Bass and Iron-Fan-Defence aka The Mystery Guest doing voices/sounds. Songs are a mix of rock, hip-hop, funk and are performed with a very tounge in cheek feel and a splattering of comedy/theatrical nonsence thrown in for good measure. All members are Redditch based, in there twenties and have very different musical tastes which is reflected in their songs priding themselves on having a diverse collection of tunes to play. Entertainment is what it's all about and nothing makes us happier to to send people home with a smile on their face."

THIS ALLTIME LOW
This Alltime Low came together in the North-West city of Chester
because
there really was nothing better to do in their lives than make music &
play
live. Fast, loud, melodic and dark, the band sit somewhere inbetween
AFI,
Hot Water Music, From Ashes Rise, and Anthrax.
With the emphasis on passion and enthusiasm the live performances are
nothing short of intense, while never forgetting the importance of
melody
and what makes a good [memorable] song.
Since first performing live in December of 2004 This Alltime Low have
played
all over the North-West and supported American heavyweights Planes
Mistaken
For Stars, and Leeds’ The Nothing.
Check out their site, www.thisalltimelow.com.
