Formed in January 2008 by Lee & Vince through a musician ad.Both guitarist looking to form a great rock band,there search was on to find members with the same passion.After a short search they came across Steve,a mad,hard hitting drummer at a blues jam night who clearly had the same passion.
An annoying 18 months was ahead trying to find the right bass player,with numerous auditions,Studio time,gigs and playing with many bassist they still could not find someone reliable or commited enough with the same drive.
At last by June 2009 a bassist called Liam contacted the band to auditon,he was excited about the music and wanted to take the new role to another dimension.
So a full band was finally revealed as Sapphire Burning.A unique,original style of rock with heavy blues and metal influences, quoting "we have something for everyone."
