Obscura

Nerys first met Andy in summer 2003 after she moved to the city to make her mark. He was everything she was looking for in a guitarist and co-writer and helped her songs evolve with strength and direction. She was the songwriter with a powerful voice and creative determination he'd been waiting for.

Two innovative minds came together and formed the core of a very poignant and universal sound. An inspired band evolved and some extremely passionate and intense songs emerged. Beautiful, breath-taking vocals, charismatic & sometimes threatening guitar riffs, haunting lyrics, extraordinary drums, intuitive bass lines and dark piano all come together to form this original and memorable sound.

obscura have been scouted for showcases at the Meanfiddler (LA2) based on their absorbing live shows. They continue to play regularly all around London looking for the right kind of interest.
