Suffolk is a place where with only a handful of gig venues and no dedicated rehearsal rooms the odds are stacked against aspiring bands. The members of NITCH, vocalist/synth James Tuck, guitarist Kris Livall, bassist Matthew James and drummer Ben Stiff, use their limited resources wisely, crafting atmospheric electronica with gritty, muscular riffs. The end result pushes the boundary of melding the avant-garde with contemporary metal. Influenced and inspired by artists as diverse as Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie and Aphex Twin to Pantera, Gary Numan and Metallica, NITCH create music that is best described as a ‘Fuck You’ to Normality.
