HEADSTAND

Formed at the start of 2002 in the London suburb of Croydon, HEADSTAND are a band with enough fire in their bellies and naked ambition to plant themselves firmly on the map. It’s always enjoyable hearing comparisons to other bands, though they are happy carving their own niche, with a healthy respect and a polite two fingers to fitting into a scene. HEADSTAND are at their most potent on stage and are committed to a ‘let’s keep things live’ ethos, playing a steady stream of gigs around the UK, with doses of Philadelphia and New York thrown in for added excitement. 2004 has been a great year for HEADSTAND so far.
