The War Poet

The War Poet is Paul McTigue, a London-based singer-songwriter. Originally from Liverpool, his music blends powerful rock and smart pop with a hard-edged lyrical bite. It’s less than a year since he recorded his debut EP but he has already played at Liverpool Music Week and been featured on BBC Radio Merseyside. He recently made his first foray into the London gig circuit in a Monto Water Rats promotion. With more gigs in the pipeline and further recordings on the way 2011 promises to be an exciting one for the War Poet.on the way 2010 promises to be an exciting one for The War Poet.
