We'll All Be Heroes  - Everything Must go

review by Rob S  - added 26/02/2010

Kicking out a taster EP ahead of the release of their Debut album, pencilled in for this May, melodically driven alt rock trio (correct as we write this, but a line up shift is imminent) We’ll All Be Heroes indicate in somewhat familiar but nonetheless enjoyable fashion why they’re the subject of quite a few admiring looks within the musical fraternity; with substantial experience under their collective belts the north-eastern newcomers have put together an enjoyable four track introduction that will only see said attention grow. Catchy as hell, mid paced stomper ‘Everything Must Go’ opens the EP before the similarly ear friendly ‘Burn Your Bridges’ starts off a ‘whoa’ enhanced party vibe, something that is epitomised on the transparently titled ‘I Just Wanna Party.’ ‘Locked out’ is the furious, high tempo ‘odd track out’, albeit one that retains the accessibility that marks all that’s proceeded it, and all in all this will set some tongues wagging before the full length’s rapidly approaching release date, and is in that sense a useful feather in their caps.
