Coyotes Dessert  - Welcome EP Review

review by Ana Leary  - added 20/09/2011

The Coyotes Dessert is a French Rock band formed by Julien Delaye, Ben Surrel,Yvz Terzibachian and Daniel “Jeeze” Rebti. Their music is a mix of Southern Rock, Stoner and Grunge filled with an exciting retro vibe.

The band has consolidated itself in Marseilles’ Rock scene performing through the past ten years and now with their first EP “Welcome” they’re ready to go way further.

I’ve picked up three tracks from the Coyotes Dessert’s “Welcome” EP just to give you a sample of what to expect and to make you eager for more. Enjoy!

Track List (for this review)

1-  American Car: marvelous performing. The drums keep the rhythm pretty fast and under a killer timing. Vocals pretty fit the melody and gives it an upper strength.

2-   Shut: Great track. Highlights go to the drums and the guitar scales creatively used.

3-  That Little Game: great vocals in it, wisely explored some tuning variations from the vocalist. Precise drums once more and also guitar playing. Stunning bass work too.
