The Vow  - Spacedust (single)

review by Seana Stevenson  - added 03/05/2011

Spacedust as explained by lead vocalist, bassist and acoustic guitarist Graham Trust is about infinity and life, spirituality and eternity. The song opens as a sort of nod to the past, breaking into a more mainstream rock approach for the chorus. Trust along with Martyn Gilbert, Tony Potter and Guy Davies give a modern take on the idea of Space and how it relates to us.

The song starts off slow but the build up doesn't amount to as much as you would hope. While vocals and instrumentals are strong the song could  use more punch.

The video shows more of a Sci-fy spin on the song, giving more context to the piece. The video also allows the listener to become sucked into the message of the song and creates more of a story.
