Bass heavy riffs, dark and slightly disturbing, this alternative/rock four-piece have worked on a five track EP and come all the way from the USA to build up a wider fan base. It kicks off with ‘Alive & Missing’ – a great introduction to their style and lyrics. With powerful vocals and an energy that kicks you in the groin, this band want to be noticed, they want their music heard in a massive way. The finishing track – ‘The Trail’ has to be my favourite of the five, its melodic tones mixed with a kick-ass chorus is the perfect choice to finish the EP and leave you wanting more. This album isn’t really for you if you’re not into heavier rock, but Candella will be following ‘Self-Inflicted’ with a full-length album, so watch out for that!
