Canadian rockers No Days are out to hit the European music market - and they hope this debut EP can get the ball rolling for them in Europe, and in their home North America. Their self-titled EP was made available in early 2006 and comes as a blessed relief for anyone who need that avenue of The Music/Hundred Reasons rock values in their CD stash. And this thing has a ton of rock stuffed in there too.

The EP kick-starts with “Change”, a heavy start to a relatively loud EP. The one drawback with this song is that the song sounds too heavy for the voice, which may sound better with a pop punk sort of style with it. But it redeems itself nicely with “Apart Like We Are”. A slower, more relaxed song with more emotion, and drops in well. It is the longest song on the EP, but only 29 seconds longer than the shortest song on the EP. But it’s clear that No Days are heading for the solid rock sound they portrayed in the opening track. “I Want More” and “It’s Over” share a similar sound, a similar tempo and would not sound out of place on any guitar smashing drum-beating album. And as if that isn't enough - there's a handy lyric booklet.

Alas, this 2006 EP has just those 4 numbers on it, but surely an album can’t be far off, and let’s hope it gets pieced together soon because they've shown they can write songs good enough for an album - let's see!
