Johnny Panic - Minority of One

Review by Maria Rosenau

Johnny Panic haven`t had as much luck as they deserve so far. Their debut single "Burn Your Youth" got them good press, but not enough radio play. Still, endless touring in the UK and a recent visit to Texas helped build their devoted fanbase and created a buzz that is hard to ignore.

New single "Minority of One" then sees the London fourpiece evolved and back in the spotlight with even more ferocity. This song is boud to wake you up, with trademark catchy guitarriffs and chorus and a bassline that sends shivers down your spine; mainstream for the ear but textwise far deeper than most of their contemporaries would bother to write. This is rock`n`roll witha conscience: sit up and take notice, because Johnny Panic plan to stay for a while.

Debut album "The Violent Dazzling" out May 9th.
