Me(Against the world) consists of four very talented musicians who were put on this earth to entertain. Chris, Pete, Matt and Sam are literally ‘music to your ears’- competent, contemporary and competent.

The music reflects early NOFX; the drums are played with precision and pace, guitars never loose focus and with the vocals on top it makes the perfect package. To their credit the band have been very successful, they made it to the final of ‘Rock Contest at The Square in Harlow’, during the summer of 2004 they released an album and made a video to accompany 2003 track ‘Never Let Go’ and they have supported the likes of The Gaga’s and Hurricane Party.

More recently M(atw) have been recording tracks for a mini album which is due for release Summer 2005 and also have another video pencilled in for viewing around the same time. So Look Out For Them!!!!

The cd that the guy’s have so kindly sent consists if three tracks – 1, Cannonade, 2, What Would Jesus Do? 3,Utopia.

The first track musically is very good and has strong lyrics to match, the only thing it needs is (and I mean just a smidge) of balance adjusting, by all means shout but I don’t think this needs it as much as it has, it takes the goodness away from the track a bit. Tracks 2 and 3 are brilliant, the vocals are perfect for the punk style of music. The music is executed confidently and with precision. If you listen closely you can hear hints of a Metallica Influence (I think).

My advice to everyone out there is find out about these guys (if you haven’t already) and let them entertain you!!
