Mayday Murders - Mayday Murders EP

Review by Nikki

Track listing:

My Fire
Dead, dead, dead
Wait A Minute Girl
For A Long Time
Don’t Quit
Radar
Cool As Fuck

Mayday Murders release this super- E.P if you will, with a whole seven tracks. Throughout listening to them you can hear the diversity of the band. It’s country, it’s rock, and it’s punk. Its dirty riffage backed with basic rhythms and vocalist James Rossetti’s voice growls yet sings over the top of it all. At times it feels repetitive, with hints of De-Ja-Vu. Stand out tracks are Wait A Minute Girl and Don’t Quit, the up tempo songs of the E.P. “Cool As Fuck” I think not. “An Alright Listen” more like.
