Poser are an all American four piece now living in England, they've recently released their debut EP 'Scars That Never Fade', and the whole band are endorsed by the incredibly cool StareCo clothing company. I recently got the chance to ask front man Zach Ross some questions, so read on to find out about the States, musical tastes, and Back to the Future! 

What has the band been up to recently? 

We have been pretty busy, just got done touring the UK doing over 35 shows promoting our new EP, "Scars That Never Fade". We have almost sold out of the first pressing of 1000 and in between all that we are working on new material for our full length to be released early next year. 

How did you guys form? 

Luke and I are brothers, we started the band about 3 or 4 years ago....we met Kevin about a 2 years ago and Donovan just join the band after our old bass player quit.... 

How come you moved from the States to England? 

Our parents are in the US Military and were sent over here. 

What are the main differences between the US and the UK? What do you miss most about America? 

The "scene" is way different in the states....I really miss that.... i know kids would easily drive an hour or two away just to see some little band in a shit club while over here its not really like that....We haven't toured the states yet but i'm looking forward to it.....although you can drink over here at 18 so we have been taking full advantage of that.... 

How did you come to sign to Advocate? 

We're not signed to Advocate, Sam the owner is a good friend of ours and he's interested in working with us but Definitely Sound Records put out our EP. 

Have you got any CDs out at the moment (or coming out soon)? (Here's your chance to plug it!)

Have you got any tours coming up? If so, when and where? 

Just got done our summer tour but we will be playing an overload of shows up untill next year so check our web page out for updates...www.poserband.com. 

What kind of music are you into? 

We like anything that's good music really....no restrictions 

Who are your current favourite bands? 

Right now I'm listening to....Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, Brand New, and The Used 

If you could tour with any band in the world, past or present, who would it be and why? 

Man there's so many.....um....I'll cop out and say the Warped Tour....because there would always be a good crowd and the new bands and old bands i like are always on it.... 

If you could star in the remake of any film, what would it be and who would you play? 

I'd be Marty Mcfly from Back to the Future....because that would kick ass 

What have you got planned for the rest of 2004? 

Just playing as many shows as we can, getting our name out there and getting everything together for the release of our full length
